A Word For 2007

With a vision, "To see souls saved and lives changed" we move into the year 2007 with great expectation. The Lord just gave me this word, that '2007 would be a year of great change'.

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." II Cor. 3:18

Men and women of God are being raised up and prepared to take the Gospel to the innermost parts of the world. To places and people that have been hard to reach but now they will be receptive to the Gospel. This could be the final preparation before the Lord returns for his church. The world is indeed, moving towards the end times. No one knows when that time will appear, but it obviously is getting very close. We can't just sit around waiting for Jesus to return. There are too many souls that need to be won to Christ. It is time for we Christians to be about our Father's business.

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" 2 Cor. 6:2

The Lord assures us that he does not change. He will be there for us as he has promised. "For I am the Lord, I change not; ---' Mal. 3:6

However there has to be change taking place in our lives for us to grow in God's word. Grow in knowledge. Grow in faith. Walk in health. Increase in finances. Grounded into the word of God.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Rom. 12:2

God has over 7,000 promises in his covenant word as our reward for serving him. He made a covenant with us and those promises are for us. In exchange we are to be true and faithful to his word and sow the good seed of Salvation that there may be a reaping of souls for the Kingdom.

This will be a year of:

Restored lives:
This is to be a year of salvation. Multiple thousands will be transformed from their old life of sin, failure and frustration. Broken relationships, broken homes and broken lives will be restored and healed. "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Ps. 23:3
A year of healing:
There will be healing and deliverance from the fear of the ongoing turmoil throughout the world. The world scene will continue to worsen but there will be a mighty move of God throughout the world. In Christ Jesus we can rest in peace knowing that God is with us at all times, in all situations and circumstances. We will see bodily afflictions healed like never before in our lifetime. People will be released from their sickness and disease and set free. "For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord." Jer.30:17
A year of Prosperity:
This is the year of release of resources that God has stored up for Christians. Doors of opportunity will be opened that were closed for years. There will be more knowledge and understanding of how God wants us to prosper. There will be a conquering of materialism and people will learn how to have dominion over their possessions rather than their possessions having control over them. Prosperity is needed for both personal benefits and so we can help finance the work of God that is going on in the world. "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." III John.1:2
Hunger for God's Word:
There will be a renewed hunger for God and a willingness to do his will and not ours. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Matt. 6:10.  "Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh." Luke 6:21
